ABOUT OZY ENGLISH
Ozy means Australian ..and 'Ozy English' means learning how to communicate- the Ozy way.
It's about helping you understand everyday, spoken English.
That means; the ability to speak and communicate clearly with a range of colourful and descriptive English words, expressions and slang.
It's an opportunity to learn Real English, the kind of language you don't learn in School. The English language is changing all the time. With Ozy English you'll be up to date.
Ozy English was developed by Antoine Burke in 2010 with the aim of bridging the gap between Academic English and Real English. Real English is when people say things like;
..."that was heaps good"..INSTEAD OF "that was great"
..."then he goes to me"....INSTEAD OF "then he said to me"
..."they headed off early"...INSTEAD OF "they left early"
Real English means understanding a million expressions. It's knowing the difference depending on context, environment and intonation. It's understanding the difference between American and British English; Formal and Informal; Technical, professional and Colloquial English
Ozy English explains the difference.
